So I have decided to start writing on my Blog to make it easier for people to follow my pregnancy and keep up with what is going on! I am very new at this and hopefully will learn everything in time! So if anyone wants to give me tips on decorations and links feel free! This first entry will be very long but its just telling you my story!
On November 11th , I had been feeling very weird. I have had 2 previous miscarriages and so i know what it feels like to be pregnant. I had a weird feeling that maybe I was because i had been urinating wayyy to frequently. So on my lunch break I decided to buy a test. As soon as I got back to my office I decided to take it ! As soon as the urine hit it (TMI!!! LOL) it immediately said Positive! I was very shocked because we were not really trying but wasn't preventing either. And honestly that was the last thing that I thought was going on. But God does work in mysterious ways and the statement "It happens when you least expect it " is very true! I immediately called my doctor and set up an appointment becauseof my history I wanted to make sure everything was going okay! I schedule my first appointment for November 15th. I was 5 weeks. My doctor prescribed me progesterone to take until my 13th week so that would help me to carry.
On December 7th, 8weeks and 1 day ( which was also my first anniversary) I woke up to some bleeding. So i called my doctor and they brought me in for an ultrasound. I was so nervous because I had never made it to 8 weeks in any of my pregnancies so I was praying the worst had not happened. As soon as I got to the ultrasound room and the ultrasound began I immediately saw the heartbeat of a very tiny little bean :) I was ecstatic. The bleeding was just some trapped blood from implantation. So i was relieved for a little while!
And then on December 20th,( 10 weeks) I yet again woke up to bleeding. This time it was much heavier and had some clots. So I assumed the worst. This was going to be the first day of our family trip with Lee's family for Christmas and so I prayed so very hard that this was not what I had assumed. I did not want the holidays to be ruined. Hubby took me to the ER and they checked me and finally decided to do an ultrasound. It turned out that the baby was fine for the time being. They diagnosed me with a subchorionic hemorrhage. They said that there was a possibility that I could lose the baby but there was also a possibility I may not. It was just a waiting game. The hemorrhage was a thing of blood in there that could bleed out and clear its self up or continue to grow. I knew that MY GOD could take care of anything so I just left it up to him. We went on to have a wonderful Christmas.
My follow up appointment was on January 4th( 12 weeks) . I was the most nervous I had ever been. But I had already decided if everything was fine i was going to announce it. So I went in for my appointment and they did an ultrasound and Praise be to the Good Lord, My hemorrhage had completely healed somehow. And my sweet baby was measuring perfectly and doing wonderful! I told everyone that day and had some amazing pics to show everyone! Since then everything continued to go very well.
On January 29th, (almost 16 weeks) I found out that we were having a Sweet Baby BOY!!! I couldn't be more excited! I had a feeling from the very beginning that It was a boy and I was Very right! I didnt have a name yet but I had plenty of time to come up with one! Over the next few weeks We came up with " CHRISTIAN CARTER" but he will go by Carter!
On Feb. 21 ( 19 weeks) I had my monthly visit. I was a little worried because I had not yet felt him move. But when she went to get his heartbeat she noticed that my placenta was in the front or on top of him. No worries though its actually very normal. She said I might just be delayed a little longer in feeling him!
On Feb 24( 3 days later) I woke up to a little tapping feeling in my lower abdomen. I knew it was him! I was so very excited!
On March 2 ( 20 weeks 1 day) I had my anatomy ultrasound! He seemed to be Perfect! He is going to be a very long baby. His limbs were extremely long! and he has huge feet! He is also very Stubborn . he did not want to move he stayed laying on his back with his feet above his head for the longest time!
As of now i have 2 more appointments until I start going every 2 weeks. One of them being next Friday! So im very excited! it is seeming to fly by! My sweet little Carter will be here before we know it!
Well this is my pregnancy story so far! I will continue updating as new things happen! I plan to make an album so that you can catch Him grow! And I hope to have people follow me and or add me so I can follow them as well! Whether your pregnant or have children already! I love reading other peoples stories! I will try to get on here either later today or in the next couple of days and add pictures! And if anyone has ideas or suggestions about the Blog feel free to give me advice!
